Chief Phillip H. Kringlie
I would like to introduce you to our Department. The officers of the Hodgkins Police Department are dedicated to the service of our community. We currently have 19 Sworn Officers and 2 civilian employees. Our Department has always emphasized training and technology. Our officers receive a minimum of 40 hours of training per year and have the latest up-to-date technology for their use. We enjoy a good relationship with our community and strive to “Serve and Protect” to the best of our ability.
Our firm commitment to Community Policing is an indication of our desire to serve our community both professionally and personally. The Village of Hodgkins is a great place to live and work, and we recognize the importance of working with our community. We have the advantage of a small town with all the benefits of being in the greater metropolitan area of Chicago.
It is our goal to continually strive to maintain a positive relationship with our citizens and to work with our community as a whole. We will develop partnerships that will enhance our ability to serve our community. Utilizing leadership, training and current technology we will serve our community with true professionalism.
